All military hardware of Russian occupation forces in Donbas outside disengagement areas – monitors’ report

All military hardware manned by Russian occupation forces in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions has been deployed beyond the designated disengagement areas.

That’s according to the press service of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters referring to the data provided by the Ukrainian part of the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination, Ukrinform reports.

"The Mission's observers recorded 114 violations by the Russian armed groups. 100% of spotted enemy hardware is outside the designated disengagement areas," the statement reads.

It is noted that in the area of ​​Ternove, the zone controlled by the so-called "1st Army Corps" of the Russian armed groups, 67 tanks, and 12 combat armored vehicles were recorded.

In the area of Shymshynivka, the zone under the control of the so-called "2nd Army Corps" of the Russian armed groups, 10 tanks and 25 combat armored vehicles were spotted.

The HQ said the amassing such numbers of military hardware suggests the intention to set up and coordinate at least three battalion tactical groups in order to strengthen or rotate units along the line of demarcation.

Ukraine’s Army units remain in the earlier designated positions, strictly adhering to their commitments undertaken of the comprehensive ceasefire, achieved within the framework of talks of the Trilateral Contact Group.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on October 28, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission during a TCG meeting reported the escalation of tensions along the line of contact and the increased presence of heavy military hardware in the disengagement zone.
