OSCE spots another type of Russian weaponry, Grad-K MLR systems, in occupied Donbas

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has recorded in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (ORDLO) a number of Russian-made Grad-K multiple rocket launchers that are in service with the Russian military only.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported in Daily Report No. 262/2021, released by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) on November 8, 2021.

The table listing the armament placed with violation of withdrawal lines shows that the Mission’s mini-UAV saw on a training ground near the village of Ternove (57 km east of Donetsk), used by the Russian-controlled armed formations, 13 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 units of BM-21 Grad and two units of BM-21 Grad-K.

As is known, the latter version of Grads, operating on the chassis of Russia’s KamAZ is in service with the Russian armed forces exclusively.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, late October, Ukraine's Mission to the OSCE during a meeting of the Security Cooperation Forum drew the attention of the participating countries’ delegations to the facts pointing to the presence and illegal movement of weapons and military hardware from Russia to the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
