Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded amid 8 ceasefire violations in JFO area

Over the past day, November 29, Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire in Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine eight times, including two attacks with the use of the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements.

“In the area of Svitlodarsk (57km north-east of Donetsk) and Starohnativka (51km south of Donetsk), the enemy opened fire from grenade machine guns.

Outside Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), the occupiers fired hand-held antitank grenade launchers, under-barrel grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and other small arms.

Towards Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), the enemy used 122mm artillery. The outskirts of the populated locality came under fire. One civilian was wounded.

Towards Staryi Aidar (20km north-west of Luhansk), Russian mercenaries fired 120mm mortars.

Near Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), the enemy launched two attacks, using hand-held antitank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and other small arms,” the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the enemy shelling.

Without resorting to weapons prohibited under the Minsk agreements, Ukrainian defenders returned fire and forced the enemy to stop attacks.

As of 07:00, November 30, no ceasefire violations were recorded.
