Donbas update: Invaders mortar areas near Prychepylivka, Krymske

Over the past 24 hours, on December 30, Ukraine’s troops recorded three ceasefire violations by the Russian occupation forces where weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements were used.

This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation HQ in its morning update, seen by Ukrinform.

The occupiers twice opened fire using 82-mm mortars and 122-mm artillery toward Prychepylivka.

There are no casualties among Joint Forces as a result of enemy attacks, the report noted.

Ukrainian troops returned fire without using any weapons banned by the Minsk deal, forcing the enemy to cease shelling.

Thanks to defense efforts, Ukrainian units held their ground.

As of 7:00 Kyiv time on December 31, no new ceasefire violations were recorded.

Joint Forces keep monitoring the situation in the zone of hostilities, remaining ready to deter and repel Russia’s armed aggression.
