PM Shmyhal, Bundestag Vice-President discuss creation of ‘tank coalition’
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed the importance of creating a "tank coalition" to help Ukraine in the war with Vice-President of the Bundestag Katrin Göring-Eckardt (Alliance 90/The Greens).
Germany will remain one of the leaders in supporting Ukraine, Shmyhal posted on Telegram.
The officials coordinated the implementation of plans after the last meeting in Berlin, noting most of them have already been implemented.
"We continue to move on to fulfill the following goals. Our priority is the creation of a ‘tank coalition’, and we count on Germany's leading role in it. I thanked Germany for the already provided weapons that help protect people and reduce the number of enemies on our land. We are negotiating other types of weapons," Shmyhal wrote.
The Prime Minister added that they also discussed the rapid recovery of Ukraine, reconstruction of the energy system using green and energy-saving technologies, grant programs for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Head of Government thanked Germany for its strong and reliable support.
As reported, Katrin Göring-Eckardt arrived in Kyiv on a working visit.
