The president emphasized that all the experience of Ukraine's defense in this war – the experience of the army, soldiers and commanders, combat units – must not only be preserved, but also spread and scaled up to the entire system of the Defense Forces.

"Courage means a lot in war. But courage combined with professionalism, resilience along with knowledge of modern warfare practices, training together with technological capabilities – this is what must ensure our advantage, the Ukrainian advantage," he noted.

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion, more than 80,000 Ukrainians have been honored with state awards, 426 warriors have been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, many of them posthumously. Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that everyone should always honor the dedication of the nation to defending Ukraine.
