NBU expects IMF mission to come next week

A mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to arrive in Ukraine next week.

Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, Valeriya Gontareva, said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As for the arrival of the mission, we expect them next week, but we haven’t yet received an official letter on this issue… The arrival of the mission will depend on when the Finance Ministry confirms that it has drawn up the budget and is ready to meet with the mission," Gontareva said.

According to the NBU governor, Ukraine expects to receive the third tranche of an IMF loan by the end of the year.
