Verkhovna Rada ratifies Agreement on Free Trade Area with Canada

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted the Law "On ratification of the Agreement on Free Trade Area between Ukraine and Canada".

As Ukrinform correspondent reports, 272 MPs voted for this adoption.

The agreement on creation of the free trade area between Ukraine and Canada was signed on July 11, 2016 in Kyiv.

The implementation of the law will allow completing all the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada, which will promote the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Canada.
