Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) launches train from Ukrainian town of Kovel to Polish town of Chelm on June 12.

"The first train will leave for Chelm on June 12. It is a long-awaited route," Balczun said, noting it would be the second day train to Poland after Kyiv-Lviv-Przemysl Intercity+ high-speed train.
At the same time, Wojciech Balczun informed that Ukrzaliznytsia planned to develop international links not only with Poland, but with other European countries as well, especially in the context of the introduction of visa-free regime. "Now we are negotiating with Slovakia and Hungary as we expect a great demand for transportation to these countries after visa-free regime is introduced," Balczun said.
