Foreign trade turnover of Ukrainian agrarian products totaled 25% in H1 2017

In January-June 2017, foreign trade turnover of Ukrainian agrarian products reached $10,903.1 million, which is 25.2% of country's total foreign trade turnover, the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry reports.

“Agrarian exports over the mentioned period amounted to $8,771.2 million, or 42.5% of Ukraine's total exports, imports - $2,132 million, or 9.4% of Ukraine's total imports. A surplus came to $6,639.2 million," said Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister on European Integration Olha Trofimtseva.

She also said about an increase in agrarian exports of some processed food products and niche food products over January-June 2017.
