Ukraine, Vietnam interested in developing bilateral trade and economic cooperation – Klimkin

During the official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with Tong Quang Thin, the Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Ninh Binh Province.

This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.

"The parties discussed the development of cooperation in the spheres of tourism, cultural exchange and people-to-people contacts between Ukraine and Vietnam and stressed on the need to work out the practical mechanisms to promote Vietnam as a tourist destination for Ukrainian citizens and spread the information about business opportunities in both countries," reads the report.

The minister informed his counterpart that development of bilateral cooperation with Vietnam was one of Ukraine’s foreign policy priorities in the South-East Asia.

The parties agreed that the establishment of interregional ties between the Ninh Binh Province and one of the regions of Ukraine would result in significant growth of educational and cultural exchanges.

Klimkin invited Mr. Tong Quang Thin and the Province leadership to visit Ukraine to establish strong and mutually beneficial ties with one of the regions of our country.
