Vehicle production in Ukraine grew by 67% in January-November 2017
In January-November 2017, the output of motor vehicles in Ukraine amounted to 7,654 units, which is 67% higher compared to the same period in 2016.
This data has been provided by the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (UkrAutoProm).
“A total of 7,654 motor vehicles were produced in Ukraine in January-November 2017, which is 67% higher compared to the previous year’s figures. In particular: the output of cars totaled 6,544 units (+ 72.2% against January-November 2016), commercial vehicles – 423 units (-22.7%), buses – 687 units (+ 187.4%),” reads a report.
In November 2017, according to preliminary UkrAutoProm data, the Ukrainian plants manufactured 1,014 motor vehicles, which is 15.6% higher compared to November 2016, and 7.4% higher compared to October 2017.
The most share of motor vehicle production was made up by cars, which totaled 895 units: + 7.2% against October 2017 and + 15.2% against November 2016.
Also, in November 2017, 90 buses were produced (which is 47.5% higher than in October 2017 and 83.7% higher than in November 2016).
The output of trucks totaled 29 (mostly by Zaporizhzhia Automobile Plant), which is 39.6% less compared to October 2017 and 43.1% higher compared to November 2016.
