Ukraine’s coal production reaches 3 mln in March 2018

In March 2018, Ukrainian coal production reached 2.996 million tonnes, which is 107% of the planned targets.

The Trade Union of Coal Mining Industry of Ukraine informed this on April 2 with a reference to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.

"In March 2018, coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership extracted 2,996,467 tonnes of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 107%,” reads the report.

In particular, the production of coal mines managed by the Energy Ministry made up 389,419 tonnes, which amounted to 97.7% of the planned targets.

The production of coal mining enterprises of all forms of ownership totaled 8,331, 077 tonnes of coal since the beginning of the year, which is by 560,177 tonnes of coal more than targeted.

The production of coal mines managed by the Energy Ministry made up 1,186, 361 tonnes of coal since the beginning of the year, which is 101.4% of the planned targets.
