South Korea, Ukraine agree to strengthen economic cooperation
South Korea and Ukraine have agreed to boost bilateral economic cooperation.
Yonhap reported this with reference to the Ministry of Finance of South Korea.
"During a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, South Korean Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon said South Korea's prowess in the IT, aerospace and other sectors would help support bilateral economic cooperation," the report reads.
In turn, Kubiv said that more South Korean companies should take part in his country's infrastructure development projects and the privatization of state-run enterprises.
The parties also agreed to expand human resource exchanges.
