EBRD already invested €12 billion in Ukraine and wants to continue cooperation
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has already invested 12 billion euros in Ukraine and is ready to continue to cooperate with our country.
President of the EBRD Suma Chakrabarti said this at a meeting of the National Investment Council under the President of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The EBRD believes in Ukraine. We have invested the most money in your country - 12 billion euros, most of the investments have been made in recent years," the EBRD president said.
Among the challenges that Ukraine must overcome, he called the low productivity of labor and the outflow of personnel.
"Over 100 employees work with us in Ukraine. We are ready to continue to cooperate and invest in many areas; in particular, we will invest in the private and municipal sectors. I believe in Ukraine," Chakrabarti said.
He called on investors for a long-term partnership with Ukraine.
