Ukraine interested in enhancing economic cooperation with Denmark - Economic Development Ministry

Ukraine is interested in enhancing economic cooperation with Denmark, in particular increasing the volume of traditional Ukrainian exports and attracting international technical assistance to the agro-industrial sector.

The press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry posted this on its Facebook page.

“Trade in goods and services between Ukraine and Denmark over three months of 2018 amounted to $122.9 million, which is 19.7% more compared to the same period last year. On June 26-27, Stepan Kubiv as a member of the Ukrainian delegation headed by Volodymyr Groysman in Copenhagen will work on strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations, discuss the course of reforms, the economic situation and prospects of joint projects between Ukraine and Denmark," reads the report.

The ministry also noted that “Ukraine is interested in enhancing economic cooperation with Denmark, especially in the context of the free trade zone with the EU, increasing the volume of traditional Ukrainian exports and diversifying its structure, as well as attracting international technical assistance to the agro-industrial sector and implementing joint projects in the field of digital economy.”
