Ukraine already exported 1.5 mln tons of grain in 2018/2019 marketing year

Since the beginning of the 2018/2019 marketing year, Ukraine has already exported 1.5 million tons of grain crops.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

"According to the State Fiscal Service, since July 1 of this year (the beginning of the 2018/2019 marketing year) Ukrainian farmers have exported 1.5 million tons of grain," the report reads.

In particular, almost 433 thousand tons of wheat, 430 thousand tons of barley, and 631 thousand tons of corn were exported.

In addition, 2 thousand tons of flour were exported in the new marketing year.

On July 1, 2018, the 2018/2019 marketing year started and will last until June 30, 2019.

As reported, Ukraine exported 39.4 million tons of grain crops in the 2017-2018 marketing year.
