Growth of exports to EU significantly higher than in general from Ukraine - Poroshenko

The growth of exports to the EU is significantly higher than in general from Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko has said on Facebook.

"The countries of the European Union are the main trading partner of Ukraine. And the pace of growth of exports to the EU is significantly higher than from Ukraine as a whole. This was made possible due to the work of a deep and comprehensive free trade area between Ukraine and the EU, which came into force on January 1, 2016," the head of state wrote.

According to him, the state continues to integrate its economy into the European free market and confidently strives towards its strategic goal - Ukraine's membership in the EU.

Ukraine increased exports to Europe in 2017 by 21%.
