Kharkiv airport launches direct flights to Lviv, Kyiv, Prague

Kharkiv International Airport, part of the DCH Group owned by businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, has launched direct regular flights to Lviv and Prague for the first time in history, the airport's press service has reported.

According to the report, on October 17, Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp Airlines performed the first flight on the Kharkiv-Prague route.

According to the press service, flights will be conducted twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays. The cost of a one-way ticket without luggage begins from UAH 1,501, while the duration of the flight will be two hours and 35 minutes.

On the evening of the same day, SkyUp Airlines performed the first direct flight on the Kharkiv-Lviv route. Further flights will be performed on Thursdays. A ticket will cost UAH 639 or more.

"The next event for Kharkiv International Airport will be the launch of low-cost flights to Kyiv, in addition to the existing ones. The first flights will be available from October 25 and will be carried out three times a week at a price from UAH 498," according to New Systems AM, the company operating the Kharkiv airport, also part of the DCH Group.
