Ukraine’s Council of Exporters, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry sign memorandum

A memorandum of understanding between the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) was signed at the KCCI Office on March 14.

This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait.

The memorandum was signed by Ukraine’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait Oleksandr Balanutsa and KCCI Chairman Mohammed Jassem Al-Sager. The memorandum entered into force on the day of signing.

According to the document, the parties will promote the development of bilateral trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Kuwait by establishing direct contacts between enterprises of the two countries, eliminating obstacles to bilateral trade, organizing joint events, exchanging information, participation in international exhibitions, etc.

Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a leading business organization in the country, established in 1959. The KCCI is funded by its members, and consultation with the Chamber is mandatory when drafting economic bills.

The Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is a platform on which the Ministry accumulates information on investment and trade opportunities from around the world. The Council facilitates business contacts between Ukrainian exporters and importers abroad.
