NBU provides refinancing to 16 banks

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) provided a total of UAH 3.4 billion in refinancing to16 banks, the central bank’s press service reported.

“On April 9, 2021, quantitative tenders were held for the refinancing of banks. The applications of six banks for a term of up to 84 days for a total sum of UAH 1,010.0 million at an interest rate of 6.50% per annum were satisfied. The applications of ten banks for a term of up to 1,820 days for a total sum of UAH 2,394.0 million at an interest rate of 6.50% per annum were satisfied,” reads the report.

As reported by Ukrinform, on April 2, 2021, the NBU provided a total of UAH 300 million in refinancing to three banks.
