Government plans to help enterprises that will switch to green technologies

The Cabinet of Ministers is developing tools for the provision of state aid to enterprises that will switch to green technologies.

"There are a number of instructions that are currently being worked out by the Government in order to form all the instruments of state aid for small and medium-sized enterprises, for producers who will switch to green technologies," Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna said during a press conference within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Ecology", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko, appointed in late April, would deal with the issue of the environmental tax on carbon dioxide emissions.

As reported, the final draft of Ukraine’s second nationally determined contribution under the Paris Agreement signed by Ukraine will be presented to European partners in July 2021.
