Zelensky: Ukraine, Georgia must take care of energy security

Ukraine and Georgia, having common European aspirations, must take care of energy security.

"Having common European aspirations, Ukraine and Georgia must take care of energy security. During the talks, we agreed to make it one of the key areas of cooperation," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during a joint briefing with President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He added that "traditionally friendly relations between our peoples will continue to develop in the interests of Ukraine and Georgia and in the interests of peace and security of united Europe."

As reported, the President of Georgia makes a state visit to Ukraine on June 23. Zourabichvili is scheduled to hold talks with President Zelensky, Prime Minister Shmyhal, and Verkhovna Rada Speaker Razumkov.
