Tourist tax revenues in Zakarpattia region grow almost 83% in Jan-Aug 2021

In January-August 2021, tourist tax revenues in Zakarpattia region rose by 82.6% compared to the same period last year, to UAH 6.916 million.

Ukrinform reports this with a reference to the website of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.

“In January-August 2021, the region’s local budgets received UAH 6,916,000 in tourist tax revenues. This is 82.6% more compared to the same period last year and 36.1% more than in the same period in 2019,” reads the report.

According the regional administration, the largest revenues from tourist tax were recorded in territorial communities of: Poliana village - UAH 2,117,000 Baranyntsi village - UAH 569,600, Koson village - UAH 563,200, Yasinia village - UAH 516,300, and Uzhhorod city - UAH 460,100.

At the same time, 22 territorial communities in Zakarpattia region saw no revenues from tourist tax payments in January-August 2021.
