NBU purchased $22.5M on interbank foreign exchange market last week

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) purchased $22.5 million on the interbank foreign exchange market last week, according to data provided by the central bank.

According to the results of foreign exchange interventions, the National Bank bought $22.5 million on the interbank foreign exchange market between September 24 and September 24, 2021.

Since the start of 2021, the National Bank sold $197 million and purchased $1.661 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market.

As reported by Ukrinform, the National Bank sold $3.891 billion and purchased $4.929 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market in 2020.
