GTSOU invested over UAH 4.6B in modernization in Jan-Aug 2021

In January-August 2021, Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC (GTSOU) invested more than UAH 4.6 billion in the modernization of gas transmission system.

"In just eight months of this year, GTSOU's production programs amounted to more than UAH 4.6 billion (capital investments, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics). It is planned to reconstruct eight compressor stations and almost 200 gas distribution stations," GTSOU wrote on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that the GTS modernization program provides for almost EUR 1.5 billion of investment in technical upgrades in the next ten years.

As reported, in September 2021, the transit of natural gas through the Ukrainian GTS to European countries amounted to 3.257 billion cubic meters. The largest volumes were shipped to Slovakia - 1.989 billion cubic meters, Poland - 332 million cubic meters, Hungary - 742 million cubic meters, and Moldova - 194 million cubic meters.
