Ukraine’s electricity exports decreased 2.8 times last week
Ukraine’s electricity exports totaled 31.7 million kWh between October 11 and October 17, which is 2.8 times less than in the previous week, Ukrinform reports, referring to the press service of NEC Ukrenergo.
On October 4-10, the average daily exports from the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant (TPP) dropped by 2.4 times, to 23.4 million kWh, and from Ukraine’s integrated energy system - by 3.7 times to 8.3 million kWh. The decrease was recorded in all directions, except Moldova (grew by 2.8 times).
There were no electricity imports last week. The company notes that there have been no electricity imports since September 21.
As reported, in August 2021, Ukraine’s electricity exports decreased by 6.1% compared with the previous month, to 344.1 million kWh, whereas imports grew by 21.9 times, to 27.1 million kWh.
