Ukrzaliznytsia saves UAH 4B on purchases of electricity from state supplier - Zelensky

JSC Ukrzaliznytsia saves UAH 4 billion on the direct purchases of electricity from the state supplier.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this at the "Great Construction: New Railway" Forum on Tuesday, November 9, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Conditions have been created when Ukrzaliznytsia reminds everyone that this is a state-owned company that buys electricity directly from the state supplier, not through any bogus companies, and this means it saves UAH 4 billion," the head of state said.

As reported, on September 30, Ukrzaliznytsia conducted the first purchase of electricity from NNEGC Energoatom under direct contracts for a period of more than one year.
