Ukraine initiates cooperation in agriculture with Oman

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine initiates cooperation in agriculture with the Sultanate of Oman.

As the Ministry’s press service informs, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Senik met with Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources of Oman, during the visit to the Sultanate.

"Senik pointed out Ukraine's significant potential in the agro-industrial sector and expressed hope for expanding cooperation in agriculture and agricultural technologies with Oman," reads the statement.

The parties discussed practical steps of bilateral cooperation on the use of innovative technologies in the agricultural sector and the opening of markets.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects of establishing cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.

On November 30, Senik discussed assistance to Ukrainian companies in entering the Australian market with Ambassador of Australia to Ukraine Bruce Edwards.
