Share of IT in Ukraine’s GDP may grow to 10% due to Diia.City - Zelensky
The share of IT in Ukraine’s GDP may grow from 4% to 10% due to Diia.City, a special legal and tax regime for the IT industry.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this at the Diia Summit, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"We are transforming Ukraine into a country of [IT] product companies. Thanks to Diia.City, the share of IT in our country's GDP will rise from 4% to 10%, and the industry's revenues will increase to $16.5 billion," Zelensky said.
According to the President, this will allow Ukraine to become the largest IT hub in Europe. "We want to build the most comfortable state in the world," he said.
As Ukrinform reported, the team of the Digital Transformation Ministry is presenting more than 10 new digital services at the Diia Summit. The new services include the change of place of registration, new notifications in the Diia app, an updated Diia.Signature, services for pensioners and drivers, and some other digital projects and initiatives.
