Government allocates another UAH 490M to restore road infrastructure
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated an additional UAH 490 million for the basic restoration and functioning of road infrastructure, including in the liberated territories.
"At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, a decision was adopted to allocate an additional UAH 490 million for basic restoration and normal functioning of road infrastructure, including in the liberated territories," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at a briefing on Tuesday, April 12, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He also reminded of the previously allocated UAH 1 billion for the priority restoration of infrastructure in the liberated towns and villages. In particular, UAH 400 million was transferred to Kyiv region, UAH 250 million – to Chernihiv and Sumy regions each, UAH 100 million – to Zhytomyr region.
The Head of Government added that free food kits were given out in frontline towns: "The country buys products mainly from Ukrainian producers to provide them with orders. From 30 to 80% of everything needed on most positions has been purchased."
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers started drafting a conditional Marshall Plan aimed at Ukraine’s restoration.
