Russia attempts to disrupt Ukraine’s grain exports even via alternative routes – Zelensky
The Russian Federation is attempting to disrupt Ukraine’s grain exports to foreign countries even via alternative routes.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech at the Indonesian analytical center of Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We want to prevent the food crisis from unfolding. We are working to redirect our exports to the new routes as much as possible amid the war, and we will deliver grain to the global market by rail trough European ports. Of course, the export volumes may be lower compared to those sent via the Black Sea, but Russia is attempting to disrupt even these efforts when destroying railway bridges, stations and logistic hubs with missile strikes,” Zelensky told.
A reminder that the Russian armed aggression has blocked Ukrainian sea ports. This may cause serious problems in the global food market.
