Over 600 enterprises already relocated across Ukraine

More than 600 companies have relocated their capacities from the regions where hostilities are underway. Of those, 390 have already resumed operations.

This was stated by the Ministry of Economy on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"More than 600 companies that took part in the relocation program have moved from the areas where the fighting continues. Some 390 of them have already resumed operations at their new sites in the western regions of Ukraine," the statement reads.

It is noted that another 87 companies are at various stages of relocation, while another 151 are drawing up the required paperwork.

Zakarpattia, Lviv, and Chernivtsi remain the most popular regions for relocation. Businesses are also finding new places to move their facilities to in Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, and some other regions.

According to Deputy Minister of Economy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Ihor Diadiura, local authorities are promoting the process, helping businesses find work space, connect to power networks, settle their employees, and set up logistics.

Entrepreneurs will be assisted in establishing logistics routes and finding new markets, including foreign ones.

Memo. The government has launched a campaign promoting relocation of production capacities of Ukrainian enterprises from the war-affected areas, offering aid to such businesses.
