Assets of Russia’s Tatneft seized in Ukraine
The assets, accounts and shares of Russia’s Tatneft Group, totaling about UAH 2 billion, have been seized in Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Billions of hryvnias of the Russian oil company owners have been seized. The SBI is suspecting them of financing the actions aimed at the forcible change or overthrow of the constitutional order and the seizure of the state power,” the report states.
According to the SBI, as part of criminal proceedings, the investigating judge issued a ruling on the seizure of the movable and immovable assets, accounts and shares of a group of companies. They were incorporated by Russia’s Tatneft, involved in the supply of petroleum products for the Russian Defense Ministry.
Currently, a total of 115 real estate units have been seized, such as oil depots, filling stations, non-residential premises, land plots, and 118 fuel trucks and motor vehicles. The cost of the assets will be determined upon a relevant appraisal, but approximately it may exceed UAH 2 billion.
