Finance Ministry places war bonds worth over UAH 2B
On June 28, 2022, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry placed government domestic bonds worth more than UAH 2 billion.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Finance Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
A total of UAH 306.8 million was raised in the state budget through the placement of three-month hryvnia-denominated bonds, UAH 30.05 million – six-month bonds, UAH 12.6 million – 1.5-year bonds.
In addition, a total of USD 46.4 million was raised in the state budget through the placement of six-month dollar-denominated bonds and USD 13.1 million through the placement of one-year dollar-denominated bonds.
A reminder that, amid the Russian armed aggression, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to issue war bonds in stages. In general, since the Russian invasion started, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry has raised more than UAH 100 billion towards the state budget from the sale of war bonds.
