One more Ukrainian port to resume operations next week – deputy infrastructure minister

Next week Ukraine’s port of Pivdennyi will start operating within “grain initiative”.

According to Ukrinform, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Musatafa Nayyem said in a Facebook post.

“Next week, we plan to add the Pivdennyi port to the ‘grain initiative’. The operating corridor of three ports - Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi - will allow us within a month to reach 3 million tonnes of Ukrainian agriproducts exports,” Nayyem wrote.

So far, four ships loaded with grain have left two Ukrainian ports. One departed from the port of Odesa and three from the port of Chornomorsk.
