Poland asked Ukraine for help in energy sector - Zelensky
Poland asked Ukraine for help in the energy sector, in particular with electricity exports.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his nightly video address, Ukrinform reports.
"Of course, we will provide it. We will always help the Polish brothers who have been helping us since the first day [of the Russian invasion]," Zelensky said.
He added that two more plaques appeared on the Alley of Courage in Kyiv today – with the names of Latvian President Egils Levits and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
"We will gradually note all the leaders of politics, culture, sports and business, who personally visited Kyiv during the most difficult half-year from February 24 to August 24, and personally participated in the defense of our state," Zelensky said.
Morawiecki and Levits visited Ukraine on Friday, September 9. They held a joint briefing with Zelensky in Kyiv.
