Six more vessels loaded with agricultural products leave Ukrainian ports
Six more vessels loaded with 124.3 thousand tonnes of agricultural products, intended for Asian and European countries, have left the Odesa region’s ports today.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, the bulk carrier PANGEO, chartered as part of the UN World Food Programme, is carrying 40 thousand tonnes of Ukrainian-produced wheat from Chornomorsk Port to Yemen.
A reminder that Russia is intentionally hindering the full implementation of the ‘grain initiative’. In recent days, ports have been operating at 25-30% of their capacity only.
As of August 1, 2022, a total of 380 vessels exported 8.5 million tonnes of Ukrainian-produced agricultural products via the Odesa region’s ports to African, Asian and European countries.
