Ukraine, Poland discuss possibilities of expanding Grain from Ukraine program

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Solskyi, and Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine, Bartosz Cichocki, discussed the tools and directions for implementing the Grain from Ukraine program.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

It is noted that the parties discussed the possibilities of expanding the circle of partners participating in the humanitarian program, current issues of its financing mechanisms and the procedure for the interaction of participants at each stage of the implementation of the humanitarian mission.

"Implementation of the initiative is a joint work of Ukraine and partners, and it is important for us that it be as effective as possible. Not only the economic stability of our country in difficult times depends on this, but also the food security of the world in general," Solskyi noted.

The minister emphasized the importance of using all possible transport means, which allows increasing the volume of exports of Ukrainian agricultural products.

Cichocki emphasized that Poland will continue to actively support Ukraine, in particular, issues of ensuring world food security.

As reported, under the auspices of President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program, which will be implemented in partnership with the World Food Program, was launched on November 15.
