Ukrainians acquire almost UAH350M worth of military bonds through Diia app - minister
Ukrainians have already purchased more than 350,000 army bonds through the Diia application for government e-services, which ensured almost UAH 350 million in revenue to the national budget.
That’s according to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrinform reports.
"More than 350,000 military bonds have already been purchased in Diia. This is powerful support worth almost 350 million hryvnias for the state budget. Therefore, this is an investment in our victory," he said.
Fedorov clarified that every hryvnia from the bond goes to the allowances for the Ukrainian military, medics, and teachers, as well as to the further efforts to strengthen the country's economy.
As reported, on October 3, a new e-service became available in the Diia application as users are offered to purchase military bonds, the securities issued by the Ukrainian government amid Russian invasion.
The price of one bond starts from UAH 900. They differ in terms of maturity terms – up to 1.5 years; annual yield – from 11% to 16%; names in honor of temporarily occupied cities and territories, etc.
