No capacity deficit in Ukraine’s power system, all types of power plants operating - Ukrenergo

As of 10:30 on February 28, there has been no deficit in Ukraine's power system, and it is currently not forecast.

National Power Company Ukrenergo said this in a statement published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Consumption is at the level of a usual working day. There is no capacity deficit in the power system, and it is currently not forecast. All types of power plants in the energy system are operating. Hydroelectric power plants are actively operating due to spring high water. The import of electricity is insignificant," the statement says.

It is noted that in the evening of February 27, power supply was resumed in Odesa city and Odesa district.

In the frontline regions, the situation with energy supply remains difficult. In Kharkiv and Sumy regions, there is damage to regional energy networks as a result of enemy shelling. Power outages have been introduced in populated areas. Repair works are ongoing.

In other regions, there are no network restrictions, consumption limits have not been introduced.

As reported, Odesa city and Odesa district were left without electricity due to an emergency shutdown of a high-voltage line.
