Ukraine approves draft agreement with Mexico on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft agreement with Mexico on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters.
That's according to the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, on February 28, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a draft Order of the President of Ukraine 'On the authorization of Sergii Marchenko to sign the agreement between Ukraine and the United Mexican States on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters' and the draft of a respective agreement," the report said.
It added that the draft agreement envisages the provision of mutual administrative assistance by the customs authorities of Ukraine and the United Mexican States with the goal of stopping customs violations, ensuring security of international trade and calculating duties, other taxes and payments in accordance with customs legislation.
With the publication of the Order and its signing by the President of Ukraine, the domestic procedures that are needed to sign the agreement will be completed.
