Deposit Guarantee Fund to sell UAH 1.4B worth of banks' assets
Ukraine's Deposit Guarantee Fund is putting up for sale the assets of eight banks worth UAH 1.4 billion this week.
That's according to the Fund's press service, Ukrinform reports.
"During the current week (March 13 through March 17, 2023), the sale of assets of eight banks liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund is planned. The initial selling price of all lots is UAH 1.387 billion," the report said.
The amount includes UAH 805.8 million worth of credit claims and UAH 483 million as the initial price of real estate objects, land plots, and other fixed assets put up for sale. Receivables were put up for sale for UAH 98.4 million.
In February 2023, the assets of banks being liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund were sold for UAH 140.9 million.
