Sweden will consider war risk insurance for investors in Ukraine.

Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine Tobias Thyberg announced this. He met with First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yulia Svyrydenko, Ukrinform cites the Government Online Telegram channel.

"Sweden will consider the possibility of insuring military risks for investors in Ukraine. The country will also present a new support program for Ukraine in June," the statement reads.

In addition, the officials discussed the financing of economic recovery projects, grant programs’ funding, and humanitarian mine clearance of agricultural land.

As reported, on February 24, the Swedish government confirmed it would provide Ukraine with 10 Leopard 2 tanks, as well as IRIS-T and Hawk air defense systems.

The Iris-T air defense system is the latest German development. It is not yet in service with the Bundeswehr.
