"There is a huge potential for bilateral cooperation in the field of hydrogen production and transportation. Germany is considering relevant projects, including the possible modernization of the Ukrainian gas transmission system for the transportation of hydrogen," the statement reads.
During the meeting, the parties also pointed out the importance of green transformation and getting rid of dependence on Russian energy resources, as well as discussed areas of cooperation in rebuilding the Ukrainian energy sector.
As reported, two documents on Ukraine–Germany energy cooperation were recently signed within the framework of the 9th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue with the participation of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.
