Germany has sent more than 420 tonnes of energy equipment to Ukraine
Ukraine has received energy equipment with a total weight of 423 tonnes from German partners.
Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko said this during a meeting with State Secretary for Economic, Finance and European Affairs at the German Federal Chancellery Jörg Kukies, the Ministry’s press service reports.
Galushchenko thanked Germany for its assistance to the Ukrainian energy sector and emphasized that Ukraine had already received 55 batches of humanitarian aid in the form of energy equipment with a total weight of 423 tonnes from German partners.
The minister also pointed out the importance of Germany’s contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund created at the Energy Community Secretariat in the amount of EUR 129.5 million.
As reported, the total amount of contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund is already EUR 190 million. The funds are channeled into purchasing equipment, fuel, and services for Ukrainian energy companies.
