Danish Energy Agency gives Ukraine equipment to restore power system

Ukraine received 12 power transformers, purchased with the funds of Ukraine’s Energy Support Fund established under the Energy Community Secretariat.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the press service of the Energy Ministry.

"The operator of the power distribution system of one of the regions bordering Russia has already received the necessary equipment worth more than UAH 2 million. The donor, whose funds were used for the purchase, is the Danish Energy Agency," the statement reads.

In total, there are 41 companies in the list of firms selected for the purchase of equipment, fuel, and services with the funds of the Energy Support Fund.

As reported earlier, contributions to Ukraine’s Energy Support Fund already amount to EUR 190 million. The funds are intended for the purchase of equipment, fuel, and services for Ukrainian energy companies.
