NABU puts former head of Ukraine's State Property Fund on wanted list

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has placed on the wanted list seven individuals involved in the case of fraud with the property of Ukraine's State Property Fund, led by its former head, Dmytro Sennychenko.

NABU said this in a post on the messaging app Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to the report, those put on the wanted list are Dmytro Volodymyrovych Sennychenko, Andrii Anatoliiovych Hmyrin, Pavlo Vasyliovych Prysiazhniuk, Mykola Mykolaiovych Parsentiev, Oleksandr Ihorovych Horbunenko, Artur Yuliiovych Somov, and Volodymyr Vasyliovych Kolot.

"All of them are part of a criminal organization that is involved in the seizure of more than half a billion hryvnias of funds of JSC Odesa Portside Plant and JSC United Mining and Chemical Company," the report said.

According to the bureau, the group was headed by the former chief of the State Property Fund of Ukraine who acted as a corruption whistleblower three times, submitting relevant statements to NABU. "In fact, he eliminated 'competitors' at enterprises from the sphere of the State Property Fund, so that only a company controlled by a criminal organization could earn money," the agency added.
