Restoration Agency drafting long-term national recovery strategy

The State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine (Restoration Agency) has a strategic vision for reconstruction and is already drafting a long-term national recovery strategy.

"We have a strategic vision for reconstruction and we draft a long-term national strategy. But now we live in conditions of unprecedented challenges of war. We will have to rebuild some towns almost from scratch. This is not a quick process in the conditions of war, but we can and should change our general approaches right now," the Agency's press service informs.

It is noted that support, the adaptation of procedures, the exchange of experience and expertise in the implementation of the best global reconstruction practices from international partners are very important and valuable. Cooperation in this area is one of the priorities of the Restoration Agency.

"Our biggest dream is the return of citizens. And for this, we need rebuilt housing, social, energy, public utility, transport infrastructure, and working businesses. The country must function fully," the Recovery Agency added.

As reported, the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development plans to present a digital platform in the summer that will allow all stakeholders to see each reconstruction project, its progress, and other data.
