Shmyhal, Sunak discuss preparations for Ukraine Recovery Conference
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak discussed preparations for Ukraine Recovery Conference which will be held in London this year.
"I talked in London with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak. We discussed the support for Ukraine in the Euro-Atlantic direction," Shmyhal posted on Telegram, expressing gratitude to Britain for its willingness to promote Ukraine's movement towards NATO.
As Shmyhal noted, the parties "focused on preparations for Ukraine Recovery Conference which will be held in London this year."
"We plan to focus on the following issues: fast recovery, confiscation of Russian assets, war risk insurance, involvement of private business in the reconstruction, and implementation of reforms," he said.
The Head of Government emphasized that "we will withstand, win, rebuild" thanks to the constant support provided by partners.
As reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska are on a visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
